The 2086 Professional is compatible with every Ektelon. How is it possible to pre-stretch while stringing? Pre-stretch is built in. Set the amount you want, if any. At 50 pounds plus 10%, you will see the digital read-outgo to 57.5 pounds, pause, then return to the set point. Do I have to reset tension in memory everyday? Memory remains alive even after the machine is shut off. It remembers all settings except count, that is, tension, pounds/kilos, pre-stretch, constant pull and speed. Can I calibrate the machine? After every pull the machine resets itself and checks its electronics. If you have a scientific gauge to measure tension, we can tell you how to calibrate the 2086.  At any time, the machine can be returned to Wise USA for a free re-calibration.
